I am working with IX260 and I can't seem to find anything to connect via bluetooth. This model shows to have it, but I don't see a way to turn it on. I have recently updated my drivers and haven't found one for bluetooth. Please advise.

I have an IX260 with integrated GPS, Radio and Bluetooth (I think). I say I think it has Bluetooth because it has a Bluetooth LED at the top of the keyboard (which is usually lit), and a CMOS setting to "wake on Bluetooth detection". I can't find anything in the Windows Control Panel or Device Manager related to Bluetooth. Windows does not detect new hardware when prompted to do so. Regardless, somthing should be listed in the device manager. As a result of further investigation I believe the Bluetooth device in the IX260 was produced by a company called BlueGiga. I've not been able to get drivers from them.
If you have any information regarding Bluetooth on the IX260 I would appreciate the help.
Thanks,
C.P.

The settings driver in my download area has that as an option. I'm not sure if you have all the proper drivers but you can download what I've got.

Hey most welcome, the iTronix is one of my favorites so I've done the same by accessorizing it quite a bit. What other laptop can be tossed around so much and yet be so effective for the price?

OK,
It can be done, I got 750GB(697GB usable) of hard drive inboard of my IX260. & a shoulder strap hooked to the same D-ring that the handle so it make it very nice to carry it around. Will have the 2Gb ram this coming weekend, & expecting an unlimited north American communication system within couple weeks.
          Thanks for all those pointers.
