Developer and Commercial Licenses

Commercial and developer license disclosure.

Projects, products and services built or maintained by Jared Ritchey may involve the use of Commercial Limited or Commercial Extended Use Licenses and this page serves to disclose the nature of those licenses including our relationship to them.  When referring to OUR, WE, or other entities it is important to understand who those persons represent in order to understand the exact nature of our licenses we maintain. For this reason the list below is presented for reference only and do not expressly disclose all parties subject to all licenses.  Parties subject to the licenses we maintain and acquire may be for specific use by any or all of the parties mentioned in accordance with the licensing terms. Licenses are most often published or extended for use by domain, seat, developer station, cpu, company, or other expressly defined parameters.  Specific client projects may also require special licenses and they may or may not be disclosed herein. Highslide JS Javascript Thumbnail Viewer – Tornstein Honsi

Highslide JS was acquired for my use by the UltimateIDX Team for use in the projects I work on as the primary licensee.  My roll related to interface design puts me on the development team for many products, this license was befitting of its intended use.  The “Commercial Unlimited License” allows a single developer to use the product in one or many products where Highslide can be distributed as part of the underlying product.  Since I designed the visual interface for those products listed below, this license and our use of the product are in compliance with the terms and conditions set forth by the developer of Highslide JS.

The Highslide JS Commercial Unlimited License Permits

The unlimited permission entitles you to use all future versions of Highslide on all sites you develop in the future, for yourself or your customers, at no further charge. It can also be used for software products that don’t compete to Highslide directly.  For any questions please contact the author.

Alternatively, the Highslide JS is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 2.5 License. This means you need the author’s permission to use Highslide JS on commercial websites.

EXT JS Library – EXT JS

License Type: Commercial License + Silver Support • License Holder: Jared Ritchey • Developer Seat: Mark Curtis

The EXT JS Library was acquired by Jared Ritchey for use in the development of web based applications associated to products published by WPRealty and UltimateIDX.  The “Commercial Developer License” allows us to product products and services in which we distribute EXT JS as part of a commercial application not GNU/GPL. Even though these same products are mostly GNU/GPL, our acquisition of the license applies to commercial components of our products. Because of this we also maintain a fully GNU / GPL 3.o version of the license.

EXT JS Commercial Developer License Permits

The EXT JS License is the appropriate option if you are creating proprietary applications and you are not prepared to distribute and share the source code of your application under the GPL. We can thus distribute the Software in any applications, frameworks, or elements that you develop using the Software in accordance with this License Agreement, provided that such distribution does not violate the restrictions set forth in section 4 of this agreement.

You are required to ensure that the Software is not reused by or with any applications other than those with which You distribute it as permitted herein. For example, if You install the Software on a customer’s server, that customer is not permitted to use the Software independently of Your application, and must be informed as such.

You will not owe Us any royalties for Your distribution of the Software in accordance with this License Agreement.
