Cleaning house and getting rid of several domains I’m putting up three for sale, two of which are immediate. These two domains were originally going to be created as a CSS gallery and a CSS repository for code and open source templates specifically developed to benefit its members by providing one way links. Time and energy are better spent elsewhere at this time and I’d hate to see good site names like this die. Each is aged better than 4 years and each has some kind of PR and does index in the SE’s. Markets can be slow and more people invest in other businesses to build residual incomes between September and December than other times of the year. CSS Design Magic

http://www.cssdesignmagic.com was purchased so I could convert it to an open listing type gallery for CSS sites not unlike many others on the market. This site was going to use Open Realty and a modified version of WordPress to promote it for designers seeking one way links to their work. There are literally dozens of CSS Design galleries on the web and the only plans I had for this one to make it different was to provide each designer more than just a simple thumbnail with link and rating system by allowing each designer to add more, much more. I had planned to provide a way for submissions from designers and site owners the opportunity to draft detailed keyword driven content or press release about the site which the thumbnails would link to internally. Then on the internal articles about the site, the outbound links would be made available. This would help people with SEO tremendously. This one is for sale for $100 and includes all the work I’ve done thus far providing I can have a permanent page about my services. I don’t even request advertising, just a one page blurb about my blog. Otherwise given all the benefits of the name and the perceived value in its identity not to mention its an AGED DOMAIN NAME with a PR3, I’d sell it for $495. I’d host it for a year free of charge for anyone interested.

http://www.asiteabove.com was to be a place where an assortment of web design resources would be published, again, to benefit designers and design professionals with one way links and traffic. Similar in concept to CSS Design Magic the site would simply be used for designers, programmers and other design related professionals a site where they could publish "Biased" articles and content about themselves in a news release format wherein they could submit code snippets, open source templates and anything they deem fit to generate traffic back to their site providing it was legal and ethical to do so. I came up with the idea after a meeting with designers in Seattle Washington that wanted a good solid web based design resource index that would cater to the industry in general. The idea naturally gravitated to have a download repository and regular press releases which profit and or money to operate the site would come from paid advertising among other things. I had originally designed the template to be Web2.0 which I abandoned and had several concepts assembled but never finished and my chosen platform was to be Joomla with three specific commercial modules that helped with marketing the site. This site has a good name and it has good potential. It would have GREAT potential if I developed it according to my original plans but time is very valuable at this juncture in my career and I simply can’t babysit the site. The site is for sale for $100 if I can again have a permanent page or article about my design services. It’s available for $350 otherwise. If someone were to buy It I’d host it for a year FREE and I’d assist with the completion of the template I designed for the site. Again! This site would be great for a template house, a web designer, or as I intended it for being, a web designers resource with SEO benefits for the industry. It has a fully licensed vBulletin forum owned license i’d transfer to anyone for an additional $55 and its updated to the absolute latest version of vBulletin.

Code Freelance - Freelance Coders and Designers Reverse Bidding

It was purchased after my investor vanished on me leaving me with the tab for all the software. It runs with WordPress and iLance reverse auction software which is a commercial and highly configurable solution which license is as current as it can be. The idea behind the site was to be a simple straight forward solution for design and coding professionals to bid on projects posted by project owners and managers. Not unlike Get-A-Freelancer or Rent-A-Coder in many respects, this site was to have features and an initial marketing plan that would set it apart in a few primary areas. First, the site would have a designers and or coders area managed by Joomla or another CMS that provided good quality marketing content for the service providers. This may appear bland at first but the simple facts are that this site was to be a FREE service for everyone until it reached its maximum potential. Studies show that sites that do this type of content specific and content driven material in addition to commerce solutions succeed faster with less effort. Some say its boring and bland to add such things but with Joomla and user submitted content which you can charge a review fee for, the potential is excellent for link baiting not to mention advertising potential if you use WordPress as the main CMS up front. Joomla was my choice only because of two very important features that would be specific to publishing content in a way that would help it rank quickly and actually provide utility value to visitors and members. I have a great deal of experience building FSBO and Dating type sites very early on several years back and every single one of those fee based sites that failed tragically did so for two simple reasons. The charged up front and they provided next to nothing. There are smarter ways to market this as I’ve planned with CodeFreelance.com Those sites (dating, fsbo, listing services, etc) of these types do usually succeed by providing some form of introduction free of charge that later stress an up-sell of sorts. FSBO sites that I’ve built that make money even today did so by providing every Realtor, home owner, renter, landlord, property manager and listing service a free place to list their properties. Then, after the site(s) were populated with a few hundred properties they released their "Enhanced Services Version" for a series of fees. This same formula works for similar sites as well including dating sites, automotive trader sites, etc and so on. Code Freelance was to be free for all with added benefits for one way links and SEO for the first 5,000 members. The profiting idea was to then provide additional services that I wont disclose here in this post for concerns someone might run with it but I’ll certainly assist in the initial stages of the site including publishing the commercial design for any one who ends up with it. The site is for sale AS IS for $495 and includes the software license which I paid $800 for and I’ll host if for a year. If you want me to first complete the design and then publish the tools and features to get it production ready then the site will be sold as a TURN KEY BUSINESS ready to roll out the door for $1,240 of which I’ll finance 1/3 of that price in exchange for advertising to a few of my blogs. That means you pay $825 and the balance is in exchange for my ability to advertise on the site for a realistic time period. I’d develop the site and partner with anyone that wanted to babysit it, but I no takers on that offer as of yet. Again that price will include the software licenses transferred to you and a years hosting. I’ll spend the time to bring it to production ready fully marketable as well.
